I thought it would be fun to make up definitions for these funny words.

This is a good short version for the infamous ten-foot pole.

Example: I wouldn't touch that remark with a stort.

@storyhog:= Someone who dominates any conversation with an unlimited amount of stories to tell.

Example: I hate when that storyhog is around--nobody else can get a word in.

@stouf:= Synonym for whore, prostitute, slut.

Example: That girl over there is a stouf.

@stounce:= A tight, punchy musical energy possessed by a limited number of bands.

Example: That band really has stounce.

@stove:= verb: to smash.

Example: I stove the car up last night after I left the bar.

@stovepipe:= When the blow back mechanism of an automatic weapon

short strokes causing a spent cartridge to get caught between the slide and jettison port;

a jammed automatic weapon.

Example: I only fired one round and the Berretta knock-off stovepiped on me.

@stover:= (derogatory) A person who frequently exibits geekiness, ineptness, extreme stupidity, or other undesirable traits.

Example: What kind of fool would strap a JATO rocket to his car? Obviously, a stover.

@stovetop-penicillin:= N.Y.C. Jewish expression: kosher chicken soup.

Example: I had a violent cold but Mom whipped up some stovetop-penicillin and it cleared right up.

@stoveup:= sick, under the weather.

Example: Nobody has seen Mr. Pritchart for a while. He must be stoveup.

@straffs:= An average, non-fasionable pair of pants.

Example: I got out of bed, put on a t-shirt, grabbed some straffs and left.

@straight-up:= Pure, unfiltered, whole, complete, etc.

Example: I was drinking vodka straight-up all night.

@straight from the ghetto:= Right out of nowhere.

Example: I was walking along and suddenly Steve was there; he came straight from the ghetto.

@Straight Up Molly Wop:= To deliver massive physical beatings to

Example: I'm gonna come straight up molly wop you!

@straight:= To be doing ok; everything is cool....

Example: Friend: Are you ok?

You: I'm straight.

@strategery:= A Saturday Night Live mispronunciation of strategy.

Example: My idiot boss clearly has his own strategery regarding this assignment.

@Strategicisthyzer:= Someone who defines strategies for the sheer sake of defining strategies. Very frequent in the web industry.

Example: It takes a good strategicisthyzer to really shift the paradigm thing.

@Straubian:= (adj) Used to describe unnatural luck or good fortune

Example: His Straubian luck came through when he found a quarter on the floor, allowing him to pay his lunch bill in full.

@straunting:= Going from one restaurant to another trying out different types of food

Example: Last Friday I took Suzy out straunting all night. Were we ever full.

@strawberry:= A crack whore.

Example: Your girl's a strawberry.

@Straya:= For people who cannot be bothered to pronounce the whole word Australia.

Example: Straya's got a whole heap of koalas in it.

@streak legal:= Used to reference ugly people.

It should be unlawful for this person to be naked in public.

It is possible that with a few modifications that restriction could be lifted.

Example: I have seen Eugene working out at the club and that guy isn't streak legal.

@street-cred:= Street credibility. Your street credibility is your street shrewdness. Can also allude to the amount of respect your posse has for you.

Example: I know some folks rag on the guy, but he has street-cred.

@street pizza:= A dried disk of vomit found in the mornng on the sidealk,

usually near a wall or other means of support.

Example: Whoa! Don't board in that street pizza!

@street puppy:= Any hot dog or sausage sold by a street vendor.

Example: Spiros! Throw another street puppy on the grill.

@street spam:= Signs plastered along the road advertising dubious or illegal get-rich-quick or lose-weight-quick schemes.

Example: According to street spam, I can make $10,000 a month stuffing envelopes.

@strengthy:= A more refined version of strong.

Example: My, but I'm a little woozy from this strengthy julep.

@strension:= Stress plus tension.

Example: The strension is killing me.

@stress less:= Calm down. Similar to chill out.

Example: Ashley is in a very frustrated and panicky mood. She should stress less.

@stressfest:= When it all becomes too much, and you're stressed, it's a stressfest.

When all the people around you are stressed, it's a stressfest.

Example: I've got six five-thousand word essays due in two days and I haven't started any of them! Aurgh! Stressfest!

@stressophrenic:= The personality altering effects of living under too much pressure.

Example: She was not her usual self today. The amount of pressure she was under caused her to make some regrettable stressophrenic decisions.

@stressure:= Stress and pressure.

Example: I find myself in a lot of stressure over bio-warfare.

@Stressy:= Opposite of relaxed

Example: i) Insult thrown during sibling argument : Ooh, s-t-r-e-s-s-y! I only asked if she'd dumped you. ii) Chronic parental condition : 'I only borrowed Mum's car and she got, like, really stressy'

@stretchedness:= A lazy, sleepy state, characterised by inordinate desire to yawn, squirm, and stretch.

Example: I spent the whole morning in a state of complete stetchedness.

@streuble:= A scrap or bit of something that has made its way to the floor.

Usually used in the plural.

(This word was invented and used by my parents and I didn't know it was not a real word until college.)

Example: I had to clean up the room since the process of writing the ransom note had left streubles all over the floor.

@striata:= The abbreviated form of Striation and a poetically embellished form of the word stria which means

a series of repeated lines, with aesthetic appeal, found in nature, rock formations,

good art, and pleasantly wrinkled skin.

Example: The striata running vertically beneath his cheek bones suggested virility, wisdom, and an artistic nature.

@Strilla:= Based off the spanish word estrella.

Example: That new car is pretty strilla.

@stringify:= To convert the value of a non-string-type variable to a string-type variable. Used by IT geeks.

Example: We'll need to stringify that integer before we can compare it to the user's input.

@Stroker:= An unethical, brown-nosing opportunist.

One who has an uncanny knack for mooching, or feeding off the good fortune of others.

Example: That stroker Matt from Accounting took the last cup of coffee and didn't refill the pot.

@Strong:= Midwest slang to express something good.

Example: Hey, man, this shirt is only five bucks. (reply) Strong.

@stroppy:= Petulant, throwing a tantrum.

Example: Why are you acting stroppy?

@struggle:= To suffer from mental deficiency.

Example: Shut up, Dylan, you struggle.

@struther:= (v) To eat everything in sight.

Example: I had to go struther the fridge.

@stu:= Synonymous with plumber's crack. Named for a guy called Stu who had a crappy furniture store we went to a lot. For some reason his pants were allergic to his waist, and consequently rode at mid-butt all the time. God, the horror.

Example: Eeew, Dad, pull your pants up! You're doing a stu.

@Stub-O-Glance:= The act of glancing down at the floor behind you after you clumsily tripped over a

n imaginary object so as to let others know that you're not really that awkward.

Example: Did you see the Sub-O-Glance that ballerina gave?

@stubbying:= To be drinking under the guise of doing constructive study.

From the Australian for beer = stubby, and to study.

Example: Bill dismissed his hangover on the morning of the exam; It's OK, he said I've been stubbying.

@stuburbia:= A part of a metropolis that resembles a suburb. Known as gentrification it usually results in one or more Starbuck's.

@stuck in Atlanta:= to be indecisive, not know what to do about something

Example: I'm really stuck in Atlanta about going to this Christmas party

@Stuck in Muddy Well!:= A euphemistic phrase used in place of a vulgar phrase with which it rhymes. Used when you want to swear, but social circumstances don't permit it.

Example: Stuck in Muddy Well! I just slammed my thumb with this hammer!
