VIII. Перепишите и переведите предложения, обращая внимание на тип условных предложений.

1. If we had known the film was terrible, we wouldn’t have gone to see it.

2. If it weren't so cold, we would go for a walk.

3. If I'd known you were busy, I wouldn't have disturbed you.

4. Ken got to the station in time to catch his train. If he had missed it, he would have been late for his interview.

5. I think there are too many cars. If there weren't so many cars, there wouldn't be so much pollution.

IX. Перепишите и переведите следующие предложения на русский язык, обращая внимание на првило согласования времен.

1. She said that she could not give me this book because she had promised to give it to her sister.

2. They said that it had been raining from five till seven.

3. We thought that the results of your work would be better.

4. He said that he had read this book twice.

5. He was sure that he would pass his examinations.
