Задания для самостоятельной работы

1. В составе небольшой группы посетите учреждение по проблемам психического здоровья или школу и установите, какие процедуры применяются для оценивания качества услуг и квалификации персонала. Просмотрите ежегодные отчеты учреждения и оцените, насколько стандартно применяются методы оценивания при описании работы учреждения. Доложите результаты своего полевого исследования на занятии в аудитории. Обсудите рекомендации, которые вы предложили бы агентству или школе.

2. Всей группой соберите примеры оценки потребностей, проводившейся в агентствах и школах. Проанализируйте приемы оценки с точки зрения пошаговой процедуры, приведенной в данной главе. Отметьте сильные и слабые стороны этих оценок. Какие усовершенствования вы бы сделали, если бы руководили процедурой? Проведите ролевую игру: члены группы должны предложить шаги на конкретном примере оценки потребности.

3. Выберите две команды по 3 человека для обсуждения аргументов «за» и «против» следующего утверждения: «Исследование в консультировании должно быть релевантным». Какое определение релевантности будет отстаивать каждая сторона? Каким образом интерпретация понятия релевантности скажется на выборе рекомендуемого типа исследования? После этого обсудите достоинства фундаментальных и прикладных исследований.

4. Какое из трех основных типов исследований (историческое, дескриптивное или экспериментальное) вы считаете наиболее приемлемым с точки зрения удобства проведения? Разделитесь на группы в соответствии с предпочтениями в области интересов исследования и обсудите внутри каждой группы мотивы своего выбора. После того как в группах будет выработана согласованная аргументация в пользу того или иного выбора исследовательского подхода, каждая группа делится соображениями со всей аудиторией.

5. Есть ли у вас предубеждения по поводу статистической обработки? Обсудите в триадах, как предубеждения могут способствовать или мешать изучению статистических методов. Попытайтесь продумать подход к изучению статистических процедур. Повлияло ли обдумывание на ваше отношение и подход к изучению этих процедур? Обсудите ваши впечатления в аудитории. Убеждены ли однокурсники, что в консультировании существует много подходов, которые помогли бы снять предубеждения (опасения) против изучения статистики? Какие именно подходы они предлагают?
