Предисловие
Предлагаемое учебное пособие предназначено для студентов третьего курса, обучающихся по направлению «Лингвистика и межкультурная коммуникация» (специальность 031201 «Теория и методика преподавания иностранных языков и культур», дисциплина «Практикум по культуре речевого общения»).
Пособие нацелено на дальнейшее развитие языковой и культурной компетенции студентов и, в частности, на совершенствование их умений аналитического чтения, разговорной речи, письма, перевода, реферирования. Пособие содержит материал по темам, предусмотренным учебными программами по аспекту «Аналитическое чтение» («Проблема распределения обязанностей в семье», «Семейный бюджет и вопросы экономии», «Общество потребителей и проблема социальной защищенности», «Питание и здоровый образ жизни», «Брак и семья в современном обществе», «Отношения детей и родителей», «Проблема поколений», «Проблемы подросткового возраста и подростковая преступность»).
Материалы, представленные в пособии, включают подборку аутентичных текстов художественного и публицистического характера, которые интересны не только с лингвистической точки зрения, но и, кроме того, ставят перед читателем весьма острые нравственно-этические, психологические и социальные проблемы современности.
Работа над каждой темой построена по единой методической схеме, включающей, во-первых, задания на понимание и интерпретацию текста, толкование смысла его отдельных фрагментов и литературных деталей. Далее, анализ текста дополняется системой лексических упражнений, направленных на освоение и активизацию новой лексики, что позволит значительно расширить словарный запас студентов. Причем структура пособия, предусматривающая периодическое возвращение к пройденному материалу, обеспечивает его надежное закрепление. Каждый урок завершается рядом коммуникативных заданий. Особое внимание уделяется формированию умений студентов вести дискуссию и строить аргументацию по спорным вопросам. В рамках каждого раздела предлагаются темы для написания сочинений.
Пособие включает также задания повышенной сложности, которые могут эффективно использоваться в ходе аудиторных занятий со студентами продвинутого уровня для совершенствования их навыков реферирования, изложения и профессионально ориентированного перевода. Подобная работа предполагает серьезную самостоятельную подготовку студентов, использование словарей и других справочных изданий.
К каждому уроку пособия прилагается подборка дополнительных текстов (Reader), тематически связанных с основной проблематикой раздела. Данный материал может быть, по усмотрению преподавателя, либо включен в основной курс (полностью или частично), либо выборочно предложен для самостоятельной работы студентов, например, для подготовки докладов, написания домашних сочинений по обсуждаемой теме и т.п. Помощь в этом призван оказать разработанный к каждому тексту методический аппарат.
Важной частью пособия является Приложение (Supplement). Здесь представлены материалы, которые могут служить руководством по реферированию и изложению текстов различной направленности, написанию резюме и эссе. Для наилучшего усвоения данного материала во все разделы пособия включены соответствующие упражнения.
