Логическое ударение
Логическое ударение — это выделение в синтагме более сильным ударением какого-либо слова для подчеркивания его особого значения. Логическое ударение представляет собой разновидность синтагменного ударения [Словарь лингвистических терминов]. Оно выделяет коммуни­кативный центр высказывания, подчёркивая в нём элементы противо­поставления. Используя логическое ударение, говорящий выделяет сло­ва, которые представляются важными именно ему. Как и в других язы­ках, в английском языке логическое ударение может падать на любое слово в синтагме. Сравните:
I can do this task. – Я могу выполнить это задание.
(простая кон-
