Если бы выборы в Государственную думу состоялись в ближайшее воскресенье, то к избирательным урнам пришли бы лишь 45 % россиян, имеющих право голоса. Такой прогноз Интерфаксу дали 29 сентября эксперты Всероссийского центра изучения общественного мнения по итогам предварительного опроса 1600 респондентов, проведенного в конце сентября. При этом, согласно результатам опроса, почти треть голосов – 32% -- на выборах в конце сентября получила бы КПРФ Геннадия Зюганова. За блок «Отечество – вся Россия» Евгения Примакова, Юрия Лужкова и Владимира Яковлева проголосовали бы 22% избирателей. «Яблоко» Григория Явлинского, Сергея Степашина и Владимира Лукина может рассчитывать на 12% голосов избирателей.

Выборы губернатора Приморья состоятся 19 декабря. Такое решение принято на заседании краевой думы 29 сентября. Однако часть депутатского корпуса, находящаяся в оппозиции к нынешнему главе администрации края, не согласна с этой датой, так как считает, что итоги голосования могут быть впоследствии оспорены, поскольку полномочия Евгения Наздратенко, по их мнению, истекают только 27 декабря, в день, когда он четыре года назад принимал присягу. Голосование в соответствии с законом о выборах губернатора пройдет в два этапа в том случае, если в первом туре ни один из кандидатов не наберет больше 35 % голосов.

Правительство Российской Федерации не поддается давлению, связанному с возможностью переноса парламентских выборов или введения чрезвычайного положения в отдельных регионах России. Об этом заявил 6 октября премьер-министр Владимир Путин, выступая на совещании региональных избирательных комиссий. «Несмотря ни на какие политические игры, выборы должны пройти в конституционный срок, честно и демократично», — подчеркнул премьер. Как передает Интерфакс, правительство совместно с ЦИК также намерено отрабатывать и совершенствовать механизмы общественного контроля за чистотой выборов. Кроме того, необходимо сделать все для обеспечения информационной безопасности и «предупредить очередной виток войны компроматов», — заявил глава кабинета.

Докладчики от комитета по мониторингу Парламентской ассамблеи Совета Европы (ПАСЕ) пришли к выводу, что президентская кампания на Украине «пока не является полностью открытой и честной». Об этом заявила докладчик по Украине от ПАСЕ Анна Северинсен в среду в ходе встречи с председателем Верховной рады Александром Ткаченко, передает Интерфакс. По словам Анны Северинсен, об этом, в частности, свидетельствуют сообщения об угрозах в адрес ряда кандидатов в президенты и журналистов, а также вмешательство административных структур в избирательный процесс. А. Северинсен выразила надежду, что отчет докладчиков «пойдет на пользу» Украине и президент страны примет меры для изменения ситуации к лучшему.

209-й избирательный округ Санкт-Петербурга обещает стать местом громких предвыборных баталий. Именно в этом округе в Госдуму намерены баллотироваться не только нынешний спикер Геннадий Селезнев и экс-премьер Степашин. Заявил о таком же намерении и Дмитрий Якубовский, отбывший наказание за кражу раритетов из Российской национальной библиотеки, а теперь занимающийся адвокатской практикой. В избирательной кампании в том округе хочет участвовать и Юрий Шутов, находящийся ныне в следственном изоляторе по подозрению в организации банды, совершившей ряд тяжких преступлений.

Бюро по демократическим институтам и правам человека ОБСЕ приняло в среду решение направить в Чечню небольшую группу специалистов для наблюдения за проведением референдума. Наблюдатели ОБСЕ планируют посетить избирательные участки как в Грозном, так и в лагерях для чеченских беженцев в Ингушетии. Помимо ОБСЕ, своих наблюдателей на выборы направят Лига арабских государств и "Исламская конференция".

У першы дзень датэрмiновага галасавання па выбарах дэпутатаў Мiнскага гарадскога Савета на выбарчыя ўчасткi прыйшло 5 тысяч жыхароў сталiцы. Гэта складае прыкладна 0,4 працэнта ад агульнай колькасцi мiнчан, якiя валодаюць выбарчым правам. Усяго ж у сталiцы Беларусi ў галасаваннi змогуць узяць удзел звыш 1 мiльёна 260 тысяч чалавек. Як вядома, на 52 дэпутацкiя мандаты ў Мiнгарсавет прэтэндуе 306 кандыдатаў. 146 кандыдатаў з'яўляюцца членамi розных партый, астатнiя 160 былi вылучаныя працоўнымi калектывамi альбо балацiравалiся ў прыватным парадку шляхам збору подпiсаў. Нагадаем, што датэрмiновае галасаванне працягнецца да 4 красавiка. На думку кiраўнiкоў шэрага палiтычных партый, вынiк выбараў у сталiчны Савет шмат у чым будзе залежаць ад таго, як пройдзе этап датэрмiновага галасавання. Так, напрыклад, лiдэр Партыi камунiстаў Беларускай Сяргей Калякiн лiчыць, што для пераадолення 50-працэнтнага выбарчага бар'ера, пры якiм выбары абвяшчаюцца прайшоўшымi, неабходна, каб у датэрмiновым галасаваннi ўзялi ўдзел не менш за 25 працэнтаў выбаршчыкаў.

Паводле звестак БелаПАН, на першым пленарным пасяджэнні чарговай сесiі Савета Рэспублiкi Нацыянальнага сходу Беларусi члены палаты тэрытарыяльнага прадстаўнiцтва беларускага парламента разгледзяць пытанне аб абраннi новага намеснiка старшынi Савета Рэспублiкi. Як вядома, раней гэтую пасаду займала Тамара Дудко, якая трагiчна загiнула ў аўтамабiльнай аварыi ў пачатку студзеня 1999 года. Чакаецца, што падчас сесii будзе разгледжана больш за 30 законапраектаў, ратыфiкаваны пакет мiжнародных дагавораў, канвенцый i пагадненняў. У лiку асноўных -- аб супрацоўнiцтве памiж урадам Рэспублiкi Беларусь i Мiжнароднай арганiзацыяй па мiграцыi. Члены Савета Рэспублiкi разгледзяць, у прыватнасцi, Працоўны кодэкс, Кодэкс аб шлюбе i сям'i, законы аб фiнансава-прамысловых групах, аб рынку каштоўных папер, аб Камiтэце дзяржаўнага кантролю, а таксама змяненнi i дапаўненнi ў закон аб прадпрымальнiцтве. На чарговым пасяджэнні Савета Міністраў Саюзнай дзяржавы Беларусі і Расіі ўдзельнікі нарады плануюць абмеркаваць праект Канстытуцыйнага акту, працу над якім з беларускага боку курыруе цяперашні старшыня Фэдэрацыі прафсаюзаў Беларускай Леанід Козік. У Берліне завершыўся кангрэс прадстаўнікоў партыяў «зялёных» еўрапейскіх краін. У прынятай па выніках гэтага форуму дэкларацыі еўрапейскія «зялёныя» заклікалі ўсе краіны кантынента аб’яднацца супраць любых формаў расізму, ксенафобіі і антысемітызму. Паварот Еўропы ў бок правых і поспех лідэра ультраправых на прэзідэнцкіх выбарах у Францыі засведчылі, што праблема расізму і антысемітызму робіцца ўсё больш актуальнаю. Мае актуальнасць гэтая праблема і для Расіі. У канцы мінулага тыдня група замежных паслоў, акрэдытаваных у Маскве, заявіла калектыўны пратэст кіраўніку расійскага МЗС з прычыны хвалі расізму, што заліла краіну. Іваноў запэўніў паслоў у тым, што расійскія ўлады не пакінуць без увагі ніводнага выпадку экстрэмізму ў дачыненні да іншаземцаў.
