Each [iːʧ] Every [‘evrɪ]
• each town – каждый город;
• I gave each child an apple. –
• I visited each my customer. –
• every town – все города;
• Every child had an apple. –
• I visited every house in the village. –
189
Each [iːʧ] Every [‘evrɪ]
each/every player.
2) Each of + местоимение/ суще-
• Each of us was asked. –
• I gave them two sweets each.
вместо each (of) ставят none:
• None of these ideas was helpful. –
each and every – все без исключения, все до единого; each other – друг друга, друг другу и т. п.
2) Every + of не существует.
• every one of the books/you – каждая из книг/каждый из вас.
ется с not, almost/nearly:
• Almost every house in the street is for sale. –
• Not every person wants it.
at every step – на каждом шагу; (every) now and then/again – время
от времени, то и дело; every single (boy) – все (мальчики) до одного/без исключения; every other day – через день; to make every eort – прилагать все усилия.
