I Read the dialogues and try to understand them:

1) A: Have you any vacancies for full-time staff?

B: What did you have in mind?

A: Something in the textile industry.

B: Have you had any ex­perience?

A: No, I'm more or less straight from the university.

B: I can't promise anything, but I'll do my best.

2) A: I was wondering whether you needed any part-timers.

B: What were you thinking of?

A: A designer job for textiles.

B: Have you ever done any­thing similar?

A: Not so far, no.

B: There's nothing at present, but look back in a week.

3) A: I'm looking for a job where I can live in.

B: What exactly did you want?

A: I wouldn't mind working in a textile company.

B: Have you done anything like that before?

A: Well, I have a year of experience.

B: Fill in this form and I'll let you know if anything turns up.

4) A: Can you fix me up with a part-time job?

B: Anything in particular that appeals to you?

A: I was rather hoping to find something in a design studio.

B: Have you done that kind of thing before?

A: Yes, I was doing the same job last summer.

B: I might be able to help you, but I'd need references.
