Заключение

Читателей должно быть удивляет, почему автор не описывает какую-либо отдельную исследовательскую программу, направленную на реконструкцию гендерной системы образования.

С одной стороны, автор стремился к обзору достижений феминистской философии в сфере образования, прямо или косвенно освещающих достижения в этой области. Более того, большинство исследований в каждой из трех программ напрямую связаны с проектом реконструкции гендерной воспитательной системы. Но это вовсе не значит, что деятельность отдельно взятого феминистского философа, занимающегося проблемами образования, малопродуктивна. Действительно, налицо существенное различие между трудами Ноддинг «Изучение заботы в школах» и Мартин «Школа — дом: переосмысление школы с целью изменить семью» в подходах к решению проблемы полового различия в системе образования. Мартин в своей работе предлагает конкретные меры, Ноддинг же ограничивается постановкой проблемы. Автор уже упоминала о том, что философия образования практически не воспринимает феминистские исследования, не принимает образование девочек в качестве проблемы для изучения. Эта система упорно не желает замечать труды женщин по этой тематике. Некоторые критики даже заявляли, что работы, написанные в реформистском духе, не являются философскими. Автор оставляет это утверждение без комментариев, и выражает надежду, что со временем в философии образовании перестанут умалчивать о проблеме полового различия и окажут поддержку упоминавшимся трем феминистским исследовательским программам или начнут новые проекты.
