(Conditional Sentences)
If the weather is fine, we shall go for a walk.
If he were here, I should ask him about it.
If the weather had been fine yesterday, we should have gone to the country.
(The passive voice)
В английском языке имеются два залога: действительный залог (the Active Voice) и страдательный залог (the Passive Voice).
Popov invented the radio in 1895.
The radio was invented by Popov in 1895.
|
Indefinite |
Continuous |
Perfect |
Present |
I am
He is - invited
We are |
I am
He is -being invited
We are
|
I have He has - been invited We have |
Past |
I was invited We were
|
I was being invited He were
|
I had been invited |
Future |
I shall be invited He will
|
|
I shall have been invited He will
|
Future in the Past |
I should be invited He would
|
|
I should have been invited He would
|
Future Continuous in the Past, Perfect Continuous.
Am I invited? Shall I be invited? Have I been invited?
I am not invited. I shall not be invited. I have not been invited.
I gave her the book. The book was given to her by me.
They spoke much about this book. This book was much spoken about.
