§4. Наклонение (the mood)
Close the door!
Please, give your watch.
He ordered that the man come there at once.
We went there early that we might see everybody.
I wish I were a sculptor!
If I had seen her yesterday, I should have spoken to her; but I did nit see her.
If I were you, I should go in for all sports.
The Imperative Mood.
Go to the blackboard!
Open the window, please!
Give me some bread, please!
- вспомогательного глагола do и отрицательной частицы not, сокращенная форма don’t или never.
Do not translate this article.
Don’t be late!
Don’t have anything to do with him!
Never open the front door to strangers.
Tell him not to read this article.
Try not to make mistakes!
Give me a book, please.
Sit down, please.
Please, don’t walk on the grass!
Help me with my homework, will you?
Do come and help me!
Do be careful.
б)
Let him/her/it/us/them + Infinitive without to. |
Let her try this work!
Let him fetch the book!
Let us go to the theatre.
Let’s play football.
Don’t let us go there.
Let us not go there.
В современном английском языке отрицательная форма для третьего лица в повелительном наклонении употребляется must not или is/are not to.
They must not go by air.
They are not to buy any sweets.
(The Subjunctive Mood)
I wish I could be able to.
I wish I could do it.
It's high time they were here.
Для выражения сослагательного наклонения в настоящем времени употребляется Past Indefinite, а в будущем - Future in the Past. п.) и should (would) have been (have known и т.п.)
-
Ishoulddo it myself. Я сделал бы это сам;
-
it is necessary that - необходимо, чтобы it is important that - важно, чтобы it is desirable that - желательно, чтобы it is ordered that - необходимо, чтобы it is required that - требуется, чтобы it is impossible that - невозможно, чтобы it is suggested that - предполагается, что
It is important that he should do it. Важно, чтобы он это сделал;
3) в дополнительных придаточных предложениях, выражающих приказание, команду, распоряжение, после таких глаголов, как: to propose, to suggest (предлагать), to wish (желать), to order (приказывать), to insist (настаивать), to hope (желать, надеяться) и др.
I wish he were here.
If I were captain of a ship, I would take you on a voyage round the world. If John were here, he would help me with my work. If I were king, you should be queen.
