Букваh внебуквосочетаний
По сравнению с русским [x] английский [h] тихий и невесо- мый, больше похож на громкий выдох – при правильном произ- несении звука воздух с силой выходит из ротовой полости впе- ред. За неимением «огнедышащего» агрегата из фильма «Моя прекрасная леди», сконструированного специально для произ- несения звука [h], в отработке этого звука удобно пользоваться подручными материалами – свечой или листком бумаги.
Если звук получается все-таки слишком грубый, распрямите спину, вытяните шею и поднимите подбородок вверх, как цар- ственная особа. А теперь с помощью звука [h] покажите свое пренебрежительное отношение к окружающему миру, лежаще- му у ваших ног.
В некоторых диалектах английского языка (например, в язы- ке кокни), а также в речи небогатых и необразованных людей звук [h] обычно не произносится вообще, на месте, где он дол- жен быть, на письме остается только апостроф – [‘].

Вотличие от русского [э], при произнесении [æ] рот широко раскрывается, как будто вы показываете горло на приеме у врача, но вместо долгого «аааа» говорите короткое «э». Нижняя челюсть буквальнопадаеткакможнониже, не выдвигаясьпри этомвперед,
ивозвращается обратно как можно быстрее – сначала потренируй- тесь «ронять» и «ловить» нижнюю челюсть молча. Представьте, чтовы– Щелкунчик, толькоорехиколотьненадо. Этотзвуккорот- кий, категорически нельзя его растягивать, особенно если мыш- цы недостаточно тренированные из-за легкомысленной работы с предшествующими упражнениями.
Вкачестве побочных эффектов возможны:
•хруст в челюстном суставе – немного уменьшите амплитуду «падения» нижней челюсти;
•болевые ощущения в челюстном суставе – сделайте самомас- саж лица, при дальнейшей работе со звуком уменьшите ам- плитуду«падения» нижнейчелюстиибыстреевозвращайтеее в исходное положение;
•ощущение, что сводит скулы, щеки и нижнюю челюсть, – сделайте паузу, помолчите несколько минут или же сделайте самомассаж лица, а потом поработайте над другими звуками до исчезновения неприятных ощущений;
•рвотныйрефлекс– возникаетиз-затого, чтоязыкслишкомвы- дается вперед, – «спрячьте» его.
Особую сложность представляют звонкие согласные после [æ] – в первое время они могут оглушаться, поэтому произносите их максимально четко (back – bag, cap – cab, hat – had).
