    1. Допинг в спорте

Drugs in sports can cost a player his or her reputation and more seriously, their lives. There are three major performance-enhancing drugs that are used by the super star athletes: anabolic steroids, amphetamine, and the human growth hormone pills.

Performance enhancing drugs have a major impact on sports and athletes. There are different effects for men and women but all of the problems are very serious. Men are subject to hair loss, acne and liver cancer, which can be a life threatening disease. Women are exposed to growth of body and facial hair and they are also liable to contract deepening of the voice. Amphetamine has very serious side effects in the male and female body. Both men and women can experience feelings of anxiety and restlessness along with a rapid heartbeat and heavy breathing. Humane growth hormone can damage the internal organs, and the bones and facial features. It can lead to diabetes, heart disease and possibly a shortened life span.

Performance-enhancing drugs can have a very serious impact on the public. If the public reaches the point where they find that sports revolve around just drugs and less athleticism, then it leads to sports losing the support of their fans, which affects the finances of the players and organizations. Without enough financial support sports cannot survive and would be ruined forever.

Допинг в спорте может стоить игрокам его или её репутации и, что более серьёзно – их жизни. Существует три основных средства, увеличивающих физические возможности, используемые супер звёздами спорта: анаболические стероиды, амфетамин и пилюли с гормоном человеческого роста.

Средства, увеличивающие физические возможности, оказывают большое влияние на спорт и на спортсменов. Для мужчин и для женщин эффект разный, но все проблемы – очень серьёзные. Мужчины подвержены потере волос, воспалению сальных желёз и раку печени, что может быть опасным для жизни заболеванием. Женщины подвержены росту массы тела и росту лицевых волос, и также замечено, что они приобретают более глубокий голос. Амфетамин имеет очень серьёзные побочные эффекты в мужском и женском организме. Оба пола, мужчины и женщины, могут испытывать чувство тревоги и беспокойства, сопровождающиеся учащённым сердцебиением и тяжёлым дыханием. Гормоны человеческого роста могут привести к повреждению внутренних органов, костей и черт лица. Они могут привести к диабету, заболеваниям сердца и сокращению продолжительности жизни.

Средства, увеличивающие физические возможности, могут оказывать очень серьёзное влияние на общество. Если общество достигнет той точки, где оно выяснит, что спорт вращается вокруг всего лишь медикаментов, а не атлетики, тогда это приведёт к тому, что спорт потеряет поддержку со стороны поклонников, что отразится на финансировании игроков и организаций. Без достаточной финансовой поддержки виды спорта не смогут выжить и, вероятно, будут уничтожены навсегда.

3. Бесчеловечное отношение к животным

A piece of meat, a glass of milk, or even an egg might seem pretty harmless. Everyone knows where they come from but most choose not to think about it. The truth is that the piece of meat sitting on your plate at dinner came from an animal that was tormented and put through enormous stress and pain to get from the farm to the dinner table.

Farms that breed and raise animals for meat aren’t at all what we picture. Green meadows where the animals graze in peace for the few short years of their lives have been replaced by “flesh produce factories”. Animals not being treated with any respect or humanity, instead, they are seen only as profitable meat products.

Cows, sheep and pigs don’t just suffer at the slaughterhouse but throughout their lives. Feedlots, the places they are sent to fatten up before being killed are full of harmful bacteria and are extremely crowded.

People should strive to put a stop to this inhumanity. It is plain torture and disgusting that people eat diseased and steroid pumped animals.
