The APG undertakes detailed and relevant typologies research to better understand the money laundering and terrorist financing environment in the Asia/Pacific region. Findings provide decision makers and operational experts with up-to-date empirical information in order that they may target policies and strategies to combat these threats.
The APG Typologies Framework includes integrated processes for collection and analysis of information and case studies; and for sharing findings and case studies with members and observers and the private sector.
Each year APG Typologies Workshops bring together law enforcement experts and regulatory authorities in order to exchange information on significant cases and operations.
