Advice of shipment to importer's

forwarding agent

In this letter Hartley-Mason Inc. is writing to a British importing agent advising them that a consignment of motorcycles is being sent for them to forward to their customers, Glough & Book. (Refer back to 10.5.5/6 for previous correspondence.)

Advice of shipment to importer

Hartley-Mason now inform Glough & Book that their consignment has been shipped. Glough & Book will accept the bill that the American company has drawn on them, and send the documents to the bank, which hands them to their forwarding agents in Liverpool, who will then be able to collect the consignment on their behalf.
