1. Make nouns with the following suffixes and translate them into Russian:

a) -or or -er

employ, credit, distribute, examine, inspect, insure, manufacture, supply, ship, receive, negotiate, operate, purchase, investigate, pay, retail, pack, wholesale, consign.

b) -ее

c) -tion

cancel, compensate, satisfy, execute, classify, apply, modify, recommend, declare, determine, alter, violate, investigate.

d) -ment

consign, develop, appoint, replace, arrange, announce, establish, fulfil, improve, achieve, judge, infringe.

2. Form verbs according to the model.

Model: If we summarize (also spelt summeri.se) something we make a summery of it.

3. Form adverbs from the following adjectives and translate them into Russian:

4. Put the adverbs in the brackets in the correct position in each sentence.

5. Make negative words by adding prefixes un-, dis-, in-, non-.

6. Read and translate the following nouns. Say from what verbs they are formed.

Pressure, reduction, production, introduction, confusion, assumption, packer, explanation, disappointment, shipper, admission, infringement, performance, consignment, replacement, insurer.

7. Fill the gaps in these sentences with a word built from the word given in the brackets.
