Paracetamol is contraindicated for use in patients with known hypersensitivity or
idiosyncratic reaction to paracetamol (or any of the other ingredients in the product);
Pseudoephedrine is contraindicated for use in patients:
with known hypersensitivity or idiosyncratic reaction to pseudoephedrine (or
any of
the other ingredients in the product);
• with severe hypertension or coronary artery disease;
• taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or who have taken MAOIs
within the
previous 14 days.
Dextromethorphan is contraindicated for use in patients with known hypersen­sitivity or idiosyncratic reaction to dextromethorphan (or any of the other ingredients in the product).
Side effects with usual doses of dextromethorphan are uncommon but may in­clude mild drowsiness, fatigue, dystonias, dizziness and gastrointestinal disturbances (nausea or vomiting, stomach discomfort, or constipation).
Side effects that may occur with high doses (overdosage) include excitation, confusion, psychosis, nervousness, irritability, restlessness, «serotonin syndrome», severe nausea and vomiting, and respiratory depression.

SECTION II
13. NOUNS OF THE 3RD DECLENSION: VOWEL AND MIXED TYPES
There are three types of nouns of the 3rd declension:
- the main or the consonant type [Units 12, 13, 14];
- the vowel type;
- the mixed type.
The vowel type of nouns of the 3rd declension includes nous of neutral gender
which have the endings -e, -al, -ar in Nominative Case singular.
E.g. -e rete, is, n,
-al animal, alis, n,
-ar calcar, aris, n. This type of words has some changes in the endings of cases in comparison to
the main or consonant type of nouns.
Abl. sing. i, Gen. plur. ium, Nom. plur. ia, Acc. plur. ia. Other endings are similar to the endings of cases of the consonant type.

The mixed type of nouns of the 3rd declension includes:
1. Parisyllabic nouns of feminine gender with endings -is, -is, f or -es, -is, f:
E.g. apis, is, f bee tabes, is, f emaciation
2. Nouns of masculine, feminine and neuter gender (m, f, n) having two or
more consonants at the end of the stem:
E.g. dens, dentis; m, pars, partis, f; os, ossis, n.
This type of words has one change in the endings of cases in comparison to the main or consonant type of nouns. It’s Gen. sing. -ium. Other endings are similar to the endings of cases of the consonant type.
