Method D: Stick a scotch tape on the lower side of a microscopic slide and pull it over the
upper side. Fold the edge so that it can be picked up again. Then hold a tongue depressor ( or
spoon) on the lower surface and turn over the tape. Thus the sticky side will be facing out.
Hold the slide, tongue depressor and the tape rmly in order to collect the specimen. After
collecting the specimen by touching the anal surface, discard the tongue depressor and fold
back the tape. Finally, stick the tape on to the slide and examine.
