to get (got, got) – доставать, получать.
to get across (to) – 1) четко изложить, мысль, идею, доводить что-либо до сведения кого-либо / to communicate, to make people understand.
•He’s an excellent speaker. He can get across even the most complicated ideas. Он великолепный оратор. Он может четко изложить даже самые сложные мысли.
2) переходить, перебираться через что-либо / to cross.
