to make (made, made) – делать.
to make after – преследовать / to chase, to pursue somebody.
•The policemen made after the burglar. Полицейские преследо-
вали грабителя.
to make away with – 1) скрыться (с украденными вещами) = to make off with something.
• Two boys made away with our cases while we were not looking.
to make away with oneself – покончить с собой. to be made for – to suit exactly.
•Buy this dress – it’s simply made for you. Купите это платье – оно просто создано для вас.

to pay (paid, paid) – платить.
