10. to cut (cut, cut)
to cut (cut, cut) – резать, срезать, отрезать.
to cut across – пересечь, срезать путь (выбрать самый корот-
кий путь) / to take a short way.

to cut back(on) = to cut down on – сократить расходы, снизить цены /to reduce the amount of money being spent.
