VIII. Add question tags to the following statements and give short answers

Model: London gets a lot of rain.

IX. Form the Past Indefinite of the following regular verbs

X. Change the sentences given in the Past Indefinite into negative and interrogative. Give short affirmative and negative answers

She didn’t ask the passengers to fasten seat belts. Did she ask the passengers to fasten seat belts? Yes, she did. No, she didn’t.

XII. Change the sentences given in the Future Indefinite Tense into negative and interrogative. Give short affirmative and negative answers

1. Even if a person does not mind heat or cold or rain or snow, the weather will be important to him.

2. If it is dark in the middle of the day buses and cars will crawl along slowly with their lights on, blowing their horns.

3. If the weather is bad it will ruin crops and the food will cost more.

4. If you press a button with a pictogram of a stewardess she will immediately come to your help.

5. The Export Depart­ment will pack and send goods to any address in the world.

6. The main course will often be fish or meat, and a lot of vegetables.

7. The next course will be something sweet and often baked, such as a fruit pie.

10. When you reach your place of destination in a few hours you will realize all the advantages of travelling by air.
