Yesterday I lost $1000000, because I missed a very im portant business meeting, because I traveled by car. Un fortunately, it was very slow! Now I think that business trip by air is faster than traveling by car, bus, train. Also it’s comfortable, because you can use luggage trolley and you can buy something in duty free shops. On the other hand you may have some problems: your flight may be can celed and you may have jet lags.

Therefore, a business trip by air is the fastest, because plane’s speed is about 900 km/h; on the other hand, you can waste a lot of time while taking off and landing.

Not only is your business trip by air the fastest one, but it is also very comfortable — you can use luggage trolley, it’s easy and free. Moreover “The Times” write that about 75% of people use luggage trolleys in airports and they like it. Furthermore, you always have complex breakfast/din ner on plane. However, you can have problems both at the airport and on the plane. For example, your flight may be cancelled. Moreover “The London News” write that about 10% of flights are canceled and about 30% of flights are delayd. Also you can have jet lags. Experts say that jet lags are very danger for health. So you can have a bid of stress.

In conclusion, I would like to say, that a business trip by air is better than any trip by car or by train. Your flight can be canceled, but also you have a lot of pluses. Nowa days, I travel only by air: it’s beter for my business.

To begin with I would like to say that every minute hun dreds of planes take off and land all over the world. Why so many people prefer traveling by air on business?

To my mind plane is the fastest way to reach your final destination point and it is also very comfortable one, but of course in our practical world it is necessary to say about the disadvantages of traveling by air.

Firstly, I would like to speak about the comfort of this way of traveling. Plane is the fastest way to travel: mod ern jets have cruising speed of about 850–900 km per hour and it is often the only way to get where you need. For ex ample you can’t go to Australia by bus or by car, but even if you could, it took you about a month to reach it.

Moreover, modern terminals and planes have wireless access to the Internet, business men can’t imagine their

life without this source of information. On board the plane kind and polite stewardess do everything to keep you in comfort. And of course during flight you can have refreshing drinks and hot breakfast, lunch or dinner. Nowadays the slogan of practically all airlines is “We do everything to make your flight comfortable”, but is it really so?

On the other hand there are many situations when you are ready to burst out shouting on personnel because often your flight can be delayed or even cancelled due to weather conditions or other reasons, if you travel on business and such unpleasant situation happened you risk to loose good partner or prospective deal.

To conclude I would like to say that it is your choice whether to go by air or to choose alterative, but as for me — plane the best way to choose.

To fly or not to fly? Many people think about this when they decide to go on holiday.

Many people are afraid to fly. Firstly, due to fear of the height. For example, when I flew to Turkey one person was very nervous because he was afraid of height and he shouted at everyone and began to fight with stewardess. Besides someone has jet lag during the flight, someone dislikes craft food there.

Also there are many difficulties in the airport. At check in, at customs. There are big queues and you have stay very long time.

Thirdly, it can be bad weather so plane can’t fly and you need to wait a long time. Or bad weather can be during the

#1. What to Do in the Air?

Once I was talking with my friends about plains. And we tried to decide how to make a flight more exciting. In my opinion you will make your flight more interesting if you do the following things. Firstly you can talk with somebody. There are lots of ways of comunication: mobile phones, various chats (in the Internet), talking to your neighbor, etc. Then reading it is not the worst way of spending your spare time. And finally I would advise you to sleep in the plane.

For instance, I was flying to Las Vegas and people who were sitting behind me were talking during the whole flight and later I realized that we can spend a couple of hours talking. Once I was flying on the plane and I did not know what to do to make my flight more interesting. But as soon as I looked what sis other people do there, I did like they. I read a newspaper. It was really funny; furthermore, now I read everywhere. On the other hand, I would advise you to sleep during your flight. For in stance such famous people as Mike Nicolson, John Frime and Andy Worryfied say that they always sleep on plane.

#3. Air Service

Can you imagine that when you travel on holiday in summer and due to some reasons your flight can be delay or you can queue at check in some hours. So of cause you will be nervous you would feel bad. You will have bad mood and so forth. And of cause you don’t get pleasure from your holiday.

So I think airlines should offer more incentives flight, because many people go on holiday in summer. Not only airlines should make registration faster, because people sometimes feel bad, they are nervous. Airlines should make better system of conditioners, should give more discount. Also flight attendants should be polite. It will be better if air companies sometimes give free tick ets.

Firstly, service in airport and during flight should be at a high level. Once my mother had not fresh meet for dinner when she flew in summer. I think food should be fresh, especially in summer; flight attendants should be polite and understand that in summer passengers can be nervous.

In one magazine I read that 67% of regular people didn’t like travel by air on holiday, because it’s very hot in summer and they felt jet lag. So I think airlines should make better system of conditioners. Seldom a stewardess help people during the flight.

One Russian artist said that he didn’t like travel by plane at all, because there were many problems. Of cause I agree with him because long queues at check in or flight delay or cancel due to different reasons make your mood bad. To my opinion air companies should organize more flights and make registration faster.

#5. To Be Board or Not to Be Board?

Often when people decide to travel by air they have a lot of problems. How to avoid them and make your flight interesting?!

It can be boring to wait in the airport or during the flight. What can you do?

Firstly, I advise you not to travel alone. Travel with your family or friends. Secondly, you can take with you a laptop and some books. It will fill your free time. Or you can sleep on the plane, like other people do. Above all, we all know there are duty free shops in all the airports. You may do shopping there.

As for me, reading magazines, listening to music and eating tasty things is the best way to relax.

Finally, I think that companies should make the food more delicious, because regular people don’t like their menu. In Swiss air companies have already had made good menu for their passengers. Not only are there several cui sines in the aircraft menu, but also different sandwiches and cakes. Hence, when I flew to Sweden last summer I en joyed my flight very much.

Thus there are many ways how “to be bored or not to be board?” during the flight. I think, it’s up to you to make your flight enjoyable.

Do you want to participate in a deal that would never win? As for me, I do not. But let’s think about it.

People have been making different deals since the ancient times. We today can not live without them. Foe example, imagine that you want to eat, but you have run out of food; consequently, you should go shopping and buy it. So, you should make a deal with a shop. But if you want to make a business deal, you should know the following things: for your business deal you should wear business clothes; then, you should talk in formal style with your partner, and, more over, businessmen prefer to have contacts with their loyal partners (they are sure that they are reliable and responsible).

Then, you should wear a black (or grey) suit when you are to sign the contract. Different newspapers tell us that 60 per cent of deals depend on your appearance.

Furthermore, you should talk in official style. One man, for instance, wrote such a letter to his business partner: “Hi Bobby, I won’t come to meet you today, cause…” And the deal was stopped by one of the sides, because this man did not want to have anything in common with such an un civilized man.

Finally, young people “are not welcome”. For example, my friend Nick wanted to sell something, he found a busi nessman and talked to him. But the man told Nick that he did not want even to talk with such a young boy.

Thus you should make various deals, but on the other hand, if you see that you will not meet the demands of your partner or if you are not self confident, you should not even start it.

But in business I think that this rule doesn’t work, because you have to know exactly what you can lose or get before you begin this deal. However, statistic says that 75% of man agers never begin a deal if the fear of losing overshadows the prospect of winning. And this is true, because they have to know benefits of this deal.

Moreover, my mother’s friend says that a risk is an essential part of business. But I want to add to this ex pression that we can risk only when we sure in a result of a deal.

In conclusion, I’m sure that people never begin a deal if the fear of losing overshadows the prospect of winning more than 50%. So I say: make your business with risk, but don’t lose your head.
