TOPIC 10. ORGANIZATION OF MEDICALCARE TOANIMALS IN VETERINARY CLINICS OF DIFFERENT OWNERSHIPFORMS
The aim of the lesson: introduction to the order of organization of medical care to animals in veterinary clinics of different ownership forms.
Glossary: the object of the veterinary profession - a facility intended to provide veterinary services. Note - the following types of objects: veterinary office, veterinary clinic, veterinary hospital. Veterinary office - the object of the veterinary profession, consisting of one job veterinary technician. Note - veterinary office can be organized as an independent institution or as part of a pet shop, veterinary pharmacy, animal lovers club or other institution that implements the animals and products for them or providing services for non-productive animals. Veterinary clinic - the object of the veterinary profession, intended to provide outpatient services to an unlimited number of veterinary specialists and consisting of more than one multi-functional or specialized cabinet, without the animals. Note - also used obsolete term - veterinary clinic. Veterinary hospital is a veterinary facility activities intended to provide outpatient services to an unlimited number of veterinary specialists and consisting of more than one multi-functional or specialized cabinet, with the possibility of long stationary animals (over one day). Vivarium - place group housing similar in appearance, physiological condition, animal health, providing physiological needs of these animals. Hospital - a place of temporary stay of an animal for the purpose of aiding lasting more than one day.

General requirements to the objects of the veterinary profession and provide them the services for non-productive animals. The document applies to objects of veterinary activity of various forms of ownership, organizational and management structure, individual entrepreneurs and individuals.
The objects of the veterinary profession must comply with the requirements of normative legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The objects of the veterinary profession must be equipped with engineering systems and equipment: natural and/or artificial lighting in all rooms; emergency lighting in case of power supply; power supply; hot and cold water; natural and/ or forced ventilation, eliminating the penetration of odors from treatment areas; sewage or domestic wastewater treatment plants (in the absence of connectivity to centralized networks); germicidal lamps in those rooms that are designed for veterinary patients.

The cabinet shall be equipped with a table-ob- servation or written, of the doctor and the owner of the animal. Additional equipment must be on the premises, provided the requirements for specific equipment. Multifunctional offices (reception - observation) must be equipped for several therapeutic and/or diagnostic functions. The minimum area of multifunctional therapy areas (reception-observation) should be 10 m2 depending on the number of jobs, the presence and size of the equipment and how much veterinary patients will be taken at the same time.
Reception - the observation must have the medical equipment and be equipped with the following furniture: tables viewing.
