TOPIC 7. ORGANIZATION OFVETERINARYSANITARY INSPECTION OF FARMS OF DIFFERENT OWNERSHIPFORMS
The aim of the lesson: introduction to veterinary and sanitary examination of farms of different ownership forms.

In the system of veterinary measures, dominated by a General preventive measures aimed at the prevention of contagious and non-contagious animal diseases. These measures

14-15 August 2014 held veterinary-sanitary examination of pig farm “Abai”.
On August 15, 2014 at the farm had 7816 pigs, including sows 612, check - 408, boars-producers - 56, piglets - 1580, weaners - 2426, pigs - 824, pigs for fattening - 1910.
The fatness of animals of all ages meat, with the exception of one group of piglets weaned in the amount of 240 heads, among which more than 50% have nigeriano and skinny fatness.
Feeding pigs satisfactory. The diets of pigs of all ages basically meet the needs of the animals. In the room where the pigs-weaners, damp, no heat source is not functioning ventilation, clogged sewage system.

Patients piglets were observed coughing, wheezing, mucous outflow from the nasal cavities, increased body temperature by 0.5 to 1.5°C. When dissections of pigs, there was a General depletion, focal pneumonia, catarrhal inflammation of the bronchi. Treatment of sick animals with the use of penicillin, streptomycin was not sufficiently effective. Bacteriological examination of pathologic material in the regional veterinary laboratory of pathogenic microflora is not highlighted.

Clinical examination of the animals

The purpose of the examination is to protect animal health and prevent the decline of their productivity, to create optimal conditions for expanded reproduction of breeding stock, resistant to adverse environmental factors.
Clinical examination of cattle include in the annual plan veterinary activities specialists serving the farms and breeding plants (stations), as well as institutions of the state veterinary network. In the conduct of its managers, the top veterinarians and chief technologists farms, if necessary, specialists of regional veterinary station.
The examination is conventionally divided into three stages: clinical, therapeutic and preventive.
The first phase involves a general examination of each animal (his general condition, mucous membranes, lymph nodes, skin, hair, bone structure, including the status of the last caudal vertebrae, ribs, hooves, udders, etc.; the study of systems - cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urinary, nervous, movement and senses), more carefully - systems and organs having deviations from the norm; laboratory studies of blood, urine, milk, etc.
In breeding farms blood for biochemical studies, it is recommended to take from 30-40 %, urine and milk from 10-15 % of cows and polls from the bulls. The rest of the farms with highly productive livestock the study of blood, urine and milk is carried out in 5-15% of cows and heifers. Samples of blood and urine are sent to a veterinary laboratory for the study (the required indicators pointing in the accompanying document).
The results of the first phase of the clinical examination compared with data obtained from previous studies. For objective data from clinical and laboratory research animals are conventionally divided into three groups: I - healthy with no abnormalities; II - clinically healthy, but with abnormalities in the blood, urine and milk; III - obviously sick animals.

The third phase of the clinical examination involves eliminating the causes of or contributing to the disease of animals.
The results of the clinical examination of animals are entered in the dispensary map. Maps are the basis for drawing up the act and give specific suggestions to the management of the economy.
Monitoring the implementation of recommendations are being implemented by managers and chief specialists (agronomists, technicians, veterinarian).
