Look at the picture below. You can see Alex Vandervoort and Nolan Wainwright in it. Say what they do, where they are, what they are doing, what they have done and what haven't. In each case give your reasons. Do it one after another.

■ Ex. 2. Complete the following passage about Alex Vandervoort and Margot Bracken. Put in the correct form of the verbs in brackets.

Alex Vandervoort is in the living-room of his apartment. Margot Bracken is there too. Alex (meet) her a year and a half ago at a cocktail party given by Edwina D'Orsey and her husband Lewis and (fall) for her at once. Margot is a lawyer.
