V. Translate from Russian into English:
Спасательная шлюпка — основное коллективное спасательное средство, предназначенное для спасения экипажа и пассажиров.
На вновь построенных судах, как правило, спасательные шлюпки должны быть самовосстанавливающегося типа, полностью закрытыми и моторными.
Их двигатели должны предусматривать механический и ручной запуск, работать или автоматически отключаться (а затем легко запускаться) в перевернутом состоянии.
Скорость шлюпки на тихой воде с полным комплектом людей и снабжения должна быть не менее 6 уз.
Спасательные шлюпки грузового судна должны обеспечивать посадку полного числа людей не более чем за 3 мин с момента подачи команды на посадку, а также быструю высадку людей из шлюпки.
Спасательные шлюпки окрашиваются снаружи в оранжевый цвет.
В носовой части с обоих бортов шлюпки делают надписи латинскими буквами с указанием названия судна, порта приписки, размеров шлюпки и допускаемого к размещению количества людей.
В каждой спасательной шлюпке имеется инструкция по сохранению жизни на спасательной шлюпке и иллюстрированная таблица спасательных сигналов.
Количество спасательных шлюпок на борту судна определяется районом плавания, типом судна и количеством людей на судне.
Грузовые суда неограниченного района плавания имеют спасательные шлюпки, обеспечивающие 200% экипажа судна (по 100% с каждого борта).
Место размещения шлюпок должно обеспечить подготовку ее к спуску не более чем за 5 мин; посадку и спуск за 10 мин на грузовом судне и не более 30 мин на пассажирском.
Дежурная шлюпка — специальное спасательное средство, которое должно находиться на судне в постоянной готовности для немедленного использования и предназначено для спасения упавших в воду людей, людей с потерпевшего аварию судна, а также для сбора и буксировки спасательных плотов в условиях аварии.
Дежурные шлюпки могут быть жесткими, надувными и комбинированными; характеризуются высокой мобильностью, хорошей мореходностью, легкостью и быстротой спуска и подъема на волнении и на ходу судна, простотой управления и скоростью более 6 уз.
Подготовка и спуск дежурной шлюпки должны быть произведены в течение не более 5 мин. Все грузовые и пассажирские суда должны иметь дежурные шлюпки.
Надувной спасательный плот в настоящее время является вторым основным спасательным средством после спасательной шлюпки, а на малых судах — и основной формой спасательного оборудования.
Изготовляются плоты различных размеров вместимостью от 6 до 25 чел.
При полной расчетной нагрузке плоты сохраняют высокие эксплуатационные качества при любом волнении моря.
Надежность плотов при длительном автономном плавании обеспечивается изолированными отсеками камеры плавучести, стойки и днища.
Наружные и внутренние трапы, надувная площадка и днище, двойной тент, устройства для герметичного закрытия входа и сбора дождевой воды, окно для обзора, широкий ассортимент аварийного комплекта – все это создает условия для сохранения жизни спасающихся на плотах.
