Partnerships have more advantages than sole proprietorships if one needs a big capital or diversified management. 8. In some western countries, cities, states federal government and special agencies can establish governmental corporations. 9. In the professions of law, medicine, and accounting partnerships have long been the main form of business organization. 10. In the USA service industries such as laundromats, beauty shops, different repair shops, restaurants are likely to be a sole proprietorship. 11. To avoid the problem of unlimited liability a special form of organization known as the limited partnership is used. 12. The legal procedures for starting a proprietorship are limited to registering the company’s name.
