Wish sentences (present)

I wish I knew Sue’s telephone number. – Добре було б, коли б я знав

телефонний номер Сью.

I wish I knew where you are,

I should have (would have conveys the meaning better here in situations which there is an “if”/”then” meaning. “should implies a “needed to” situation.)

Exercise 3

Make the following sentences refer to the past.

Exercise 4

Paraphrase the sentences as in the example.

Example: We didn’t take a taxi. So we missed the train.

Put the verb into the correct form.
