Урок 3 косвенная речь Вопросительные предложения

Если высказывание в прямой речи является вопросительным, то при переводе его в косвенную речь меняется порядок слов, так как в косвенном вопросе порядок слов такой же, как и в утвердительном предложении. При этом специальные вопросы присоединяются к главному предложению при помощи слов what, who, where, how, when и др. (то есть вопросительных слов, которые были использованы в прямой речи), а общий вопрос вводится союзами if или whether (в русском языке в этих случаях используется частица ли). Сравните:

	“Did you see him?”	if I saw him.

Специальный вопрос

	“What did he speak about?”	what he spoke about.
	“How many classes do you take?”	how many classes I take.
	“Who teaches you?”	who teaches me.

Помимо глаголов say и ask косвенные вопросы могут вводиться следующими глаголами:

wonder - интересоваться

inquire - спрашивать, узнавать

want to know - хотеть узнать

a) Peter does his shopping at OKEY supermarket. Yesterday a woman who works for OKEY stopped him on his way out and asked him some questions. She wrote the answers on the form below. Later Peter told his friend Don about it. Give Peter’s words.

Example: She asked me how often I shopped at OKEY, and I told her I stopped there twice a week.

b) Has anyone ever stopped you in the street or called you to ask questions? Have you ever had an interview for a job? Has a reporter or a policeman ever asked you questions? Report your interview in writing (5 sentences).
