2. Speak about your talk with Mr. Johnson.
The other day I saw Mr. Johnson and had a word with him. I spoke about our new project and asked him a few questions. I told him there were some points with which I disagreed. I also told him that some technical characteristics were not mentioned in the description.
I gave him to understand (дал ему понять) that I had strong doubts as to the overall value of the project estimated at 3 million dollars. To my mind it is much higher. Finally, Mr. Johnson thanked me for, as he put it, my valuable remarks and said he would take them into account. he didn’t share my viewpoint that the whole project should be re-considered.
