Besides - кроме того, помимо того, также, вдобавок к тому.

Особенности употребления слов to do, to make.
To do - делать, выполнять какую-либо работу, быть занятым чем-либо.
What are you doing? - Что ты делаешь?
Do what I’ve told you! - Делай, что я тебе сказал!
To make - делать, создавать что-либо своими руками, мастерить, изготовлять.
He was making a boat at night. - Он мастерил лодку ночью.
Who will make a fire? - Кто разожжет костер?
Перевод этих слов на русский язык во многих случаях зависит от существительного. Глагол to do имеет тенденцию к обозначению более абстрактных действий, чем глагол to make. Но эта тенденция не является стопроцентной.
В английском языке существует ряд сочетаний, где глагол и существительное тесно взаимосвязаны друг с другом:
