WOMAN IN THE MORNING
In the morning I get dressed (I dress). I take off my nightgown and put on a bra and panties, then I put on a blouse and a skirt. After that I put on socks and high-heeled shoes. At last I put on my (over)coat, a scarf, gloves, a hat or a kerchief. If it rains I change into a raincoat and take an umbrella with me. In winter I wear a sweater, a winter coat (fur coat), a fur hat and boots.
WOMAN RETURNS HOME
When I come back home I unbutton and take off my coat, the blouse, the skirt and shoes. I change into a dressing-gown and put on slippers. Then I put on an apron and go to the kitchen. After supper I get undressed (I undress) and take a bath. I put on a nightgown and go to bed.
LADIES’S HANDBAG
In my handbag (pocketbook, purse) there are a lot of useful things such as a handkerchief, my purse (change purse), a lipstick, a hand mirror, a comb, keys, my ID card, my credit card, a notebook, a pen and my mobile phone (cellphone)
Note: ID card (Identification Card) – удостоверение личности
MAN IN THE MORNING

Then I lie down on the sofa and watch TV waiting for my supper. After supper I get undressed (I undress) and take a bath. I put on pyjamas (pj’s) and go to bed.
Note: tracksuit - спортивный костюм
MY BAD TAILOR
My tailor made the suit that doesn’t suit me and I shall bring a suit against him.
When I tried it on I saw that the cloth is old and dirty, the colour is very bright. The coat is too tight, the collar is too narrow, the sleeves are too long, a breast pocket is missing, all the buttons are loose, the zipper is broken and the pair of trousers is not pressed.
Note:
suit 1. костюм 2. подходить, быть впору 3. судебный иск; bring a suit against smb – подать иск против к-л
is missing – отсутствует
loose –свободный, болтающийся, плохо пришитый
broken – сломанный; pressed – глаженый.
WHAT I LIKE TO WEAR
I prefer fashionable and smart clothes. I don’t like striped dresses but checked frocks become me. I like loose skirts but denims must be tight. I like to wear silk short-sleeved blouses, blue cotton slacks and woolen cardigans. My high-heeled shoes must be made of pure leather. And I’d like to have a white wedding gown.
Note: wedding gown –свадебное платье
ATTENTION ! SOMETHING IS WRONG
Be attentive, there are some mistakes. Correct them, please.
I have a fine slipper on my old-fashioned head.
My trousers have two sleeves and a high collar.
I wear skin gloves on my feet.
My friend usually puts an umbrella into his wallet.
Scotsmen wear a skirt and a bra.
