I. Adapt the exchanges to these situations.
You hear these announcements:
1. At a large party:” The winning lottery number is…! (Was it 940 or 914, yours?)
At a football match: “Will the owner of a red Mini, registration number…, please come to the main entrance”. (You parked your red Mini outside the football ground.)
In a railway station: “The next train is the … to Bath.” (Was it the 12.30 or the 12.13?)
II. Adapt the exchanges to these situations. You hear the following announcements but don't understand them.
In an airport Arrival Lounge: “All passengers on flight BU 121 from Malta are requested to report immediately to the baggage unloading bay. Thank you.”
At a concert: “Before the next item, we have an important announcement. Would any doctor or nurse in the audience please come to the manager's office immediately? Thank you.”
