Transistor ultrasonic thickness gauge type 1103
A direct-reading ultrasonic thickness gauge which requires access to only one side of the material and has been specially developed for applications where a very high degree of portability is essential.
Features:
Direct-reading scale. Simple operation.
Range 0.09 in. to 5 in. Suitable for flat and convex surfaces.
Compact lightweight all- transistor design. Visible and audible resonance indication.
Application: The Transistor Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge Type 1103 is especially suitable for work which requires rapid and simple nondestructive measurement of material thickness in awkward locations and to which there is access to one side only. Such applications include corrosion studies and flaw detection on ship hulls and decking, and on piping, tanks and pressure vessels in the oil, chemical and nuclear power industries.

Eht stabilized power supply type 411
The Type 411 is a heavy duty extra-high tension supply which is variable from 500 V to 3.0 kV and will supply a current of 10 mA over this range.
The high stability factor and low ripple recommend it for use with scintillation counters and as a general laboratory supply. The output is completely isolated and is switched to provide a positive or negative supply.
Special precautions have been taken to ensure complete safety and all switches, sockets and potentiometers are isolated from the chassis.
The unit is built on a standard 19" front panel and may be removed from its instrument case and mounted in a rack.
