ЗАПАМ’ЯТАЙТЕ: використовується тільки форма теперішнього часу (present tense) у підрядних реченнях умови та часу після: on condition = if = provided, whenever, by the time, while, before, after, as soon as, when, till/until, etc. Study the examples.

Форма will не використовується в підрядній частині (if-clause) умовних речень. Можна зустріти форму would у підрядній частині (if-clause) умовних речень у виразі would like, наприклад. Conditional II
Умовні речення другого типу використовуються, коли мова йде про уявну або малоймовірну ситуацію, а також описується її результат. Уявна або малоймовірна ситуація передається за допомогою if + past simple (простий минулий час). Результат цієї ситуації передається за допомогою would або wouldn’t.
Таким чином, умовні речення другого типу будуються із уживанням таких форм :
if + past tense, would + infinitive.
Як правило, це складнопідрядні речення, між частинами яких ставиться кома.
