Dear Dr Hilary Crystal
I wonder whether you would like to come and lecture to our students again this term? They very much enjoyed your talk on sociolinguistics last year, and several of them have asked for a repeat performance. We shall, of course, pay you normal fee. Perhaps, you would be kind enough to phone me so that we can fix a date.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely

How to Address the Envelope
The way we address an envelope is of great importance. It accelerates the delivery of a letter and expects a favourable impression on an addressee.
It must contain the following information:
the title of an addressee (титул та ім”я адресата);
the position he/she holds (посада в компанії, якщо необхідно)
the name of the street and the house number (номер та назва будинку та вулиці);
the name of the city, town, village (назва міста, містечка або села);
the post office department (поштове управління - прописними літерами);
the name of the county (назва графства, скорочена назва);
the post index (поштовий індекс - прописними, без знаків).
The recepient’s address should be written or typed in the right-hand corner at the bottom of an envelope. The stamps are stuck in the right upper corner.
The sender’s address is to be written left upper corner of an envelope.
Addressing parcels one should always write To:, From: and point out the sender’s and the recepient’s addresses.
