Ex. 8. Change the sentences using if so that they have the same meaning.

Example: I’ll not send my letter without paying its postage.

If I don’t pay for the stamp (and the envelope), I won’t be sure the addressee will receive my letter.

  1. Harriet won’t be able to receive the parcel without presenting her passport.

  2. You can’t post a letter without the recipient’s address.

  3. You will never speak English on the phone properly without listening to someone else’s speaking much and without learning telephone conversations.

  4. She can’t send documents by express mail without paying $5 express charge in addition to ordinary postage.

Ex. 9. Translate into English.
