XII. Read and translate the text: about my family and myself

First of all let me introduce myself. My name is Oleg Chaika. I am seventeen years old. This year I have finished comprehensive secondary school № 17 in Cherkasy and entered Cherkasy Banking Institute. Now I am a first-year student of auditing-economic department.

My family lives in Cherkasy in one of the residential areas. We are five in the family: my parents, my elder brother Max, my younger sister Nina and me. My parents are not old at all. Daddy is forty-seven, and Mum is three years his junior. My dad is a surgeon by profession and my mom is an accountant. My brother is five years my senior, so he is twenty-two. He is a builder. He is not married yet. My sister is a schoolgirl. She is fifteen. My grandparents are already pensioners, but they are still full of life and energy. They live in the country and I often visit them there. I have many relatives – uncles, aunts, cousins.

I am fond of reading books on history. I go in for sports. I like playing football and swimming.

In four years I`ll graduate from the Institute. To be a good specialist it is necessary to study many general and special subjects, so I do my best to get deep and profound knowledge.
