Упражнение 1. Образуйте форму причастия настоящего времени (ParticipleI) от следующих глаголов по образцу; переведите их на русский язык.

Model I: to stand – standing

to each, to work, to look, to go, to help, to do, to read, to ask, a to nswer;

Model II: to study – studying

to play, to stay, to buy, to say;

Model III: to live – living

to write, to take, to give, to come, to have, to leave, to translate;

Model IV: to sit – sitting

to get, to begin, to put.

Упражнение 2. Образуйте форму причастия прошедшего времени (ParticipleII) от следующих глаголов и переведите их на русский язык.

to find, to send, to take, to install, to develop, to leave, to write, to receive, to make, to give, to equip, to see, to transform, to found, to speak, to do, to bring

Упражнение 3. Переведите словосочетания, обращая внимание на функцию причастий.

the plant producing machinery, the cars produced at this plant, producing cars;

the asking student, the student asked by the teacher, asking the student;

reading a book, playing tennis, leaving the town;

a new house built recently (недавно), building the house, the workes building the house;

using a new method, the engineers using a new method, the new method used by engineers;
