It also describes the way how to work on literary text in Japanese. The article gives some information
about criteria for evaluating of the general professional competence formation.

Minako Kadoi. Report on the 9th Yekaterinburg Japanese Language Speech Contest 2015 This article reported how the ninth Yekaterinburg Japanese Language Speech Contest was organized by a novice Japanese language teacher at the Department of Oriental Studies at Ural Federal University. After the contest, the survey was conducted and the result showed that it was clear that providing such a contest was a worthwhile opportunity for learners of Japanese to actually use Japanese with a clear purpose, to improve their language skills, and to expand their confidence in speaking in Japanese.Although there was positive feedback from the contestants, as a language teacher as well as an organizer there were several issues to deal with in the future
in order to improve the event.
