the control group. In group 1, in 203 patients (99%; 95% CI 97-100%), the stress
test was recognized as ischemic, in group 2 – in 65 patients (94%; 95% CI
87-98%), in the control group – in 12 people (35%; 95% CI 20-52%), p<0.00001.
The average stress in group 1 was 70±29 W, in group 2 – 76±35 W, in the control

5.4.4. Results of coronary angiography
Coronary angiography was made in 176 patients in group 1, 62 patients in group 2
and 7 persons from the control group. In 160 (91%) patients of group 1,
independent X-ray endovascular specialists diagnosed >50% stenoses in the left
main artery, pLAD/pLCx. In group 2, 42 (69%) had angiographic signs of >50%
stenosis in mLAD/mLCx. In the control group, 1 patient (14%) had a lesion of the
right coronary artery of more than 50%, the remaining 6 persons in the control
group were not diagnosed with significant stenoses according to coronary
angiography, p<0.000001.
5.4.5. Clinical outcomes of patients during the year.
During the observation period, contact with 4 patients was lost, all patients from
group 1 remained, the final group consisted of 357 people (99% of the initial).
5.4.5.1. Overall mortality analysis
The average follow-up period was 10.5 months. Fatal outcomes were observed in
17 cases. Cardiovascular death was proven in 13 cases, it was not possible to find
out the cause of death in 3 cases, in one case the cause of death was cancer.
Death occurred in group 1 only (6.4% vs. 0% vs. 0%, p<0.009, in group 1 vs.
group 2 vs. control group, respectively). Kaplan-Meier curves Fig. 5.8

5.4.5.2. Analysis of the incidence of acute coronary events
Acute coronary events, which included: myocardial infarction, pulmonary edema,
unstable cardiac angina, were registered in 19 patients, which amounted to 4.7% of
the total number of patients in all groups. In group 1, there were 18 cases of acute
coronary events (6.76%), in the second group – 1 case (1.09%), in the control
group there were no acute coronary events p<0.004. Kaplan-Meier curves Fig.
