When choosing a career, it makes perfect sense to choose one that is related to what you enjoy doing in your spare time, if you so desire. In addition people tend to become very skilled in their hobbies, even though most of the skill is gained informally.
(A47) ___Every year, especially during milestone years, for examplethe beginning of a new decade, there are numerous articles and books that list what “the experts” predict will be “hot jobs.” It can’t hurt to look at those lists to see if any of the careers on it appeal to you, but you shouldn’t use the list to dictate your choice. While the predictions are often based on valid data, sometimes things change. What is hot this year won’t be hot a few years from now. In addition, you need to take into account your interests, values, and skills when choosing a career. Just because the outlook for an occupation is good, it doesn’t mean that occupation is right for you.

(1)If someone wants to know more about Belarus, it makes sense to start with the overall description. The total area of Belarus is more than two hundred thousand square kilometers. The terrain is generally level, disrupted by series of highlands that run from northeast to southwest.
(2)Belarus has four discernible geographic regions: an area of low hills, and forests in the north; an agricultural region with forests in the west; broad elevated plain in the east; and the Pripyat’ Marshes, a lowland of rivers and swamps that extends into Ukraine, in the south. So, all in all, the country’s terrain is generally flat. In fact, the country’s highest point is Mount Dzerzhynskaya, 346 meters high. It is located in an upland area just southwest of Minsk.
(3)Belarus is known for its many rivers and lakes. The Dnieper is the largest river in Belarus; it flows southward, almost the entire length of the country in the east. Its important tributaries are the Pripyat’ in the south and the Berezina in the central region. Another major river is the Dvina or Daugava (Western Dvina or Daugava), which flows westward from Russia through the northern tip of the republic. The Neman, also a west-flowing river, links the western part of Belarus with Lithuania. The Bug is a northward-flowing river al the country’s southwestern border with Poland. No doubt the lakes are chief glory of the Republic of Belarus. Belarus has virtually thousands of lakes. The largest among them is Lake Naroch in the northwest.
(4)The diversity of plant and animal life is indisputable. In Belarus coniferous forests predominate, with pine being the principal tree. Oak, birch, alder, and ash trees also are found. The Belovezhskaya Pushcha Reserve in the southwest is part of the oldest existing European forest. Belarus has more than 70 mammal species including the deer, the fox, the wild pig, the wolf the common squirrel. There are 280 bird species, including doves, wrens, bullfinches, and woodpeckers. Forests contain grass snakes and vipers, rivers are the habitat of fur-bearing animals such as mink and otter. One-third of the republic is covered in forest, which adds a lot to the beauty this wonderful land.
