At last I’ve something which will please you as historian. I bought a book «Atlantic Crossing» written by Tyrone Fitzpatrick. This book tells the story of Tyrone who crosses the Atlantic Ocean alone in a wooden boat. The boat was built and designed like the boats that were used by Irish fishermen a thousand years ago. It was taken from old books. Fitzpatrick thinks that America was discovered many years before Columbus was born. The book is beautifully illustrated with many coloured photographs and maps. The pictures were taken by the author himself during the voyage.
