JANE’S DUTIES

Oh, I often help Mum about the house. I like watering the plants and airing the room. It’s so nice when the room is fresh and clean! Actually I don’t really like tidying up the room or sweeping the floor, but of course I have to do it sometimes.

We have a nice cat — William is its name. It’s large and grey and it has green eyes. I like feeding it, but I hate going out with it because William doesn’t like walking around espe­cially when the weather is cold and rainy!

What else I do about the house... I never do the ironing or cooking, Mum usually does it and I don’t mind, and I can’t fix things — it’s Dad’s duty. Dad also goes shopping on Fri­days. And I do the shopping some other days.

Т: Look at the blackboard and try to remember the order of the word combinations on the cards.

Учитель вивішує на дошці картки (Н0₂) зі словосполученнями у певній послідовності та пояснює їхнє значення.

Клас розподіляється на групи по троє-п’ятеро учнів. Кожна група отримує комплект таких самих карток. Учитель перегортає картки на дошці, а діти повинні розташувати свої картки у тій самій послідовності. Перемагає група, яка швидше та правильніше виконає завдання.
