4. Activity 4. Personal details. Get to know your friend.

Greeting:

Formal greeting: "How do you do."

The standard reply is " How do you do."

Informal greeting to greet existing acquaintances:

Hello. How are you? - I`m fine, thank you.

Saying good-bye:

It was nice to see you. Good bye.

Activity 4.1. Read the dialogue "Personal details" and learn it by heart.

Activity 5.1. Topic "What is the time?" Read the questions that are translated «Который час?» and their two answers.

  • Excuse me. You wouldn`t have the time, would you?

Activity 5.2. Voice the time, like this: 0917 – oh nine seventeen.

Activity 5.3. Topic "Date. Day." Ask and answer the questions below.
