7) Express your surprise, contradict the following statements and give your reasons.

Model С - I shall have translated this article by 8 o'clock. - Will you really have translated this article by 8 o’clock? - No, you will not have translated the article by 8 o'clock. It's rather difficult.

1. I shall have written my composition by the time you come. 2. He will have repaired the tape-recorder by the end of the week. 3. Fred will have papered the walls of the room by Wednesday. 4. Mike will have whitewashed the ceiling by the time Mother comes back from her work. 5. Ann will have chan­ged her mind several times by the time summer comes. 6. Your little brother will have broken all the toys by the time you buy a New Year tree.

Model D - He knew they would meet him at the station. – Why, you are mistaken, he knew they would not meet him at the station.
