Note 1: Will is used:

a) to express a future decision or intention made at the moment of speaking.

1. ’It’s Jane’s birthday.’

‘Is it? I’ll buy her some flowers.’

2. Goodbye. I’ll see you tomorrow.

3. ‘Which do you want? The blue or the red?’

‘I’ll take the red. Thank you.’

b) to express statements of a future fact: We’ll take exams in January.

Note 2: Future Simple is used with the words: tomorrow, next week, in 5 days.

Note 3: Future time is also expressed by “going to” for planned future events.
