Hello! I want to introduce myself. My name is Zhenia. I am a pupil of the 7^th form. I think that it is especially important to know English. That is why I have been learning English since the first form. In my opinion I am good at English and Polish. My father worked in Zhytomyr and one Dutchman came to check his work. The Dutchman spoke English but my father didn’t understand him because he didn’t know English. My daddy was very grieved. Both my father and Dutchman were good specialists but they couldn’t exchange their experience. At the same time my father decided to teach his child English. Dad’s dream came true. I think I am lucky because I study English and know it rather well. I had and have new textbooks from Oxford University Press. Our nice and illustrated textbooks and workbooks give me the wish and the desire to learn. Not only books but also my teachers teach me everything what I know now. My teachers were Vereschaga L.I., Zinnurov E.I., Wiśniewska O.Y.

I can say that I have achieved some results because I took the first place in the competition in English. But there are also competitions and games during the foreign languages week in our school, for example ”WOW-quiz”, “Merry Train”, “Dramarama”. I suppose that in these games we can show our knowledge in the subject. I am very proud that our school keeps relations with American and English schools and some foreign guests visited our school. They were Emmi, Veronika, and Michael… But I want to have some English and American teachers, who will teach our pupils in our school. hope to connect my life with English in future. I believe that I will be an interpreter or a teacher of English. Frankly speaking, I want to go to England very much but I am afraid it is impossible. But I guess in any case English will be useful in my future. Not in vain people say: “ The man is so many times a person, how many languages he knows”.

Hello, my name is Nikita. I am twelve. I love my school and consequently I try to study well. I think that my school is big and modern. It is situated in a picturesque place. My school is constructed in three floors. On the ground floor there is a cloakroom and laboratories, specialized rooms and workshops. In workshops the pupils have practice in various crafts: woodwork, metalwork, needlework and cookery. Besides, there is a library and a reading room full off books and magazines. Opposite the library there is a school canteen, where pupils can have a bite during the breaks. Senior pupils study various subjects: mathematics, physics, chemistry, programming, biology, geography, computer sciences, English and other educational subjects. As for me I’m interested in studying English and I try to study English well. Under textbooks we can be well prepared to the tests. My favorite teacher is Galina Nikolaevna. She is a teacher of the English language. She always tells about the importance of learning foreign languages. At the lessons of English it is very interesting for me because at these lessons we find out about English more. I’ve been studying English since the kindergarten. I think English is worth studying. There is a proverb “A new language is a New World.” Our businessmen, tourists and other people go abroad. Nowadays a lot of people study foreign languages in every possible way. If I study English well, I’ll become an interpreter. It is a well-paid job and I want to speak to different people of the United States, Canada, Great Britain and other English-speaking countries. So, there is no doubt, foreign languages are worth studying.
