Hello. My name’s Liuda Borysova. I’m thirteen. I go to the collegium. I like playing volleyball, riding a bike, roller-skating, reading books, playing dolls, watching TV. I enjoy doing interesting tasks in English and French. I miss my cousin and my native town – Berdychiv. Now I want to tell you about my school. My school is ten! Every morning I hurry to my native school which is situated not far from my apartment block. Our school is not an ordinary one. It is a new type of school, it is a collegium. Our school provides schooling with light and spacious classrooms, large lobbies and recreations where we can rest between lessons.

Lessons start at half past eight except Sunday and Saturday. Every day we have seven lessons, they are Ukrainian, English, French, History, Biology, Physics and others. I enjoy our English lessons because I’m interested in languages. These lessons are useful. This language is interesting, relaxing and harmonious. I like speaking English. I prefer to study French than German as the second foreign language. I enjoy studying French. This language is harmonious. I must say that our foreign languages weeks are always the event. We always try to take part in them. Last year was not an exception. Our team “Love is…” was the third prize winner in the “Merry Train” competition. I like my English teacher Olena Oleksiyivna. She is the best teacher in the world. She is kind, clever and sometimes funny. I really like English and French because I want to be an interpreter. I must know English and French very well. I hope I will get a good job if I learn English and French. I want to go to France and England. I know that I will enter the university. My mother said that I would need English in future. I want my dreams come true. I’ll try to study English and French regularly. I must work hard in order to know the languages rather well. In conclusion I’d like to say that English and French are necessary languages in our modern life.

Hello! My name is Tania Mel’nyk. I study at the seventh form. I enjoy studying in this school. I have already studied here for six years. I like my school because I am sure it gives us the best knowledge, our teachers open us the window on the world day by day. Thanks to our teachers we take part in different competitions and very often we are winners. Soon our school will have its birthday. It was founded 10 years ago. So, we will celebrate the 10^th anniversary of its foundation.

We learn many subjects. In my opinion our pupils should learn subjects with pleasure, though all the subjects needn’t be favorite. As for me I enjoy studying Ukrainian Literature, Ukrainian, English, History, Physical Training, Arts, and World Literature. I’d rather study English than other subjects. I love learning English poems very much. My favorite book is “WOW”. We learn interesting facts about the life of people, their problems, the life of young people and their problems with parents from “WOW”. To my mind, this book is very interesting. There are many teachers in our school who give us good knowledge and we must be thankful to them. My favorite teachers are Natalia Leonidivna, Svitlana Ivanivna, Tetiana Andriivna. I think all the teachers must be honest and clever. Our English and German lessons are very interesting because tell us about languages we learn, we study different topics, make up stories ourselves. Sometimes I help my friends with English and German when they don’t understand something.

I am interested in languages, especially in English. My mom said I would need it in future that’s why I study English regularly. I have been studying it since the first form and I choose it as my favorite subject. But I study the second foreign language. It is German. I like German because my relatives live in Germany. I usually get a “10” or an “11” in English and an “8” or a “9” in German. I think it is very good for me. I won’t give up studying languages. The knowledge of foreign language is very important now. I do my best to improve my English and German day by day. I learn new words, always do my homework, and enjoy speaking foreign languages at the lessons. I believe I’ll get a good job. Now I dream to become a lawyer. It is a very serious and responsible profession. I think my dream will come true, but I know I must be clever, confident and must learn hard to reach my goal.
